CAD / CAM / 3D
From drawing to working part
Design and manufacturing capability for custom parts, prototypes and short production runs — modelled properly, printed or machined, and tested in the application.
Design to part
Obsolete, broken or never made in the first place
When a component cannot be bought, it can often be modelled and manufactured instead.
- Custom brackets
- Housings and enclosures
- Fixtures and jigs
- Replacement components
- Engineering prototypes
This is engineering work, not a hobby printer in the corner. Parts are modelled to dimensions, made in a material chosen for the job, and checked in the assembly they belong to.
It is often the answer when a component no longer exists: a discontinued bracket, a broken housing, a fixture that was never sold in the first place.
Workflow
Measure, model, prototype, produce
- 01
Measure
The broken part, the space it fits, or the drawing you already have.
- 02
Model
Dimensioned CAD model, with tolerances for the fit.
- 03
Prototype
Printed or machined, then fitted and checked in the assembly.
- 04
Produce
Adjust the model and run the batch in the chosen material.

Why ALC
Engineering, not a hobby printer
Designed for the load
Material and geometry chosen for what the part actually has to survive.
Prototype then produce
Print one, fit it, adjust the model, then run the batch.
Fits the rest of our work
Housings for repaired electronics, brackets for security hardware, obsolete parts for machinery.
FAQs
Questions we get asked
I only have the broken part. Is that enough?
Usually yes — we measure it and model it. Photographs and dimensions help us quote before you come in.
Can you make more than one?
Yes. Small production runs are part of the service.
Which materials?
Chosen per job depending on strength, heat and wear requirements. We'll advise with the quote.
Tell us what you need
Send photographs and dimensions, or the broken part itself. We'll quote the model and the manufacture together.
